Hi, I’m Michelle! An illustrator and writer based in South Africa. I graduated from the University of Cape Town in 2020 with a BA in English Literature and continue to cultivate my obsession with stories now that I'm in the workforce.

I enjoy keeping my sketches loose, lines chalky, and colours bright to evoke a childlike feel with my work. Through that, I hope to celebrate the offbeat by creating worlds with characters that feel as clumsy and plucky as I do.

I'm drawn to whimsical stories with a slice-of-life feel to them and look forward to creating middle grade books or graphic novels in this style.
